Words & Sound from 08.06.16 where Chris’ special guest is actor, writer and producer; Claire Amias whose many stage appearances include Child Z at Southwark Playhouse, Romeo and Juliet at Greenwich Playhouse and the critically acclaimed Women of Twilight at the Pleasance and White Bear theatres.
Claire’s screen work includes Telling Lies (with Jason Flemyng), Provoked (with Miranda Richardson) and The Magic Hour. She also played Josie in the popular German TV series Rosamunde Pilcher and recorded numerous voiceovers for Tomorrow’s Times. Claire also recently played Mrs Smith in Borley Rectory alongside Reece Shearsmith.
Claire’s latest work is The Masks of Aphra Behn, which is a one woman play about the first ever female professional writer, who also happened to be a spy for King Charles II. The show has been chosen to be performed in the Women and War Festival in July 2016 at the So & So Arts Club.
