DENNIS ROOKARD 1942-2010

We're very sad to announce that Dennis Rookard has passed away. Dennis was one of Phoenix FM's original team, broadcasting a daytime show on Phoenix FM's first ever temporary (28 day) broadcast which took place in December 1996. During his time on the station he was involved in a number of different shows including political discussion shows and folk music.

As well as being a regular with us for 14 years he was well known and loved in Brentwood for his work with local newspapers, Eastward Hospital TV and Hosiprog. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
