Giving FM radio airtime to bands in Essex that might not get it anywhere else ..
Started in December 2005, with 110 sessions from 105 different bands, most of which have been unsigned or local to the Brentwood/Essex area.
The first five groups of sessions were held in the Creative Recording Studios in East Horndon. The sixth sessions were held at the Essex Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre in Havering-atte-Bower, where we welcomed 25 artists over 24 hours. The seventh sessions kicked off with a recording of Japanese band Clinton USM at the Phoenix FM office in the Baytree Centre, Brentwood.
