I recently wrote how we had an Australian band visit us and didn’t think that our distance was going to be broken soon.

Turns out I was wrong, as we recently featured New Zealander Marianne Leigh in the studio, who played live and chatted to our Drive presenter Jo Bailey.

We’re cheating a bit, because Marianne has recently moved to London – but she still had a three-hour round trip to get to us. (Someone really ought to do something about the traffic in London …)

Marianne has appeared regularly on radio and TV in New Zealand and Australia, but is now carving out a career here in the UK.

She talked about her new single I Don’t Care, her recent headline show in London and her upcoming tour with Tom Speight.
