Jakob performs stunning new tune in studio

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

Our award-winning morning presenter Michelle Ward spends a lot of time championing new music from the Brentwood area, and sometimes, slightly beyond. She’s always on the lookout for talent who might not get played on more traditional radio stations.

One such example is the incredible voice and music of local band We Are All Fossils, Jakob Deist. Michelle hosted Jakob in the studio where he played live some of his tunes including new release “Hollow”. Michelle says that the tune is stunning and the live performance breathtaking.

Also joining Jakob was his brother Hans, who is the owner of Voodoo Keller Bar in Chelmsford. Hans has regular music nights and even produces his own beer and is part of the scene of small promoters, doing their bit to make sure that you don’t have to pay 150 quid to see someone live.

You can hear the performance again at www.phoenixfm.com and find out more about Jakob’s music at weareallfossils.com.
