Welcome to episode 1 of the brand new Words & Sound podcast with my Chris Stagg.

On this episode I am joined by Natasha from Chicken & Frog childrens bookshop. Natasha has selected all of the music on the episode (and what an eclectic mix it is; Alice Cooper, to Dolly Parton, to Ed Sheeran) and we discuss the Brentwood Childrens Literary Festival and the numerous guests Natasha gets to speak at her shop. Natasha is also reading from her new favourite book Cogheart by Peter Bunzl.

Finally we take a look at the marvelous Edward Gorey and I read from one of my favourite examples of his work.
