We’ve been playing out No Games by Angel Flukes recently here on Phoenix FM – the work of two German producers Sven Schmitt and Sascha Twesten, otherwise known as SOS Project. We caught up with them to find out more about their music.
Tell us a little bit about your yourself?
We’re two cousins in our thirties, Sven Schmitt and Sascha Twesten. We’ve been producing music in our bedrooms since we were 13.
When did you first start to develop a passion for music?
We won a MAGIX MUSIC MAKER competition and created our first chart-hit at a very early age. We also won our first Midi Keyboard and started making more music.
Since then we’ve progressed professionally and worked for and with well known artists like DANTE THOMAS (Miss California), multiple RTL Supertalents and German Idol Winners.
Which artists did you listen to while growing up?
We started by listening to many artists including our idol KLAAS (Infinity) who we have since worked with on a couple of projects.
He’s one of the few people who didn’t lose his own unique sound over the years, and that gave us a lot of inspiration.
Who would your dream collaboration be with?
We would dream of a collaboration with DURMET KENNADY and MEDUZA.
What are your plans for the future?
Our plans include creating multiple brand new songs for us and other artists, and reaching for that ONE HIT which plays around the world.
