This week’s show focuses on Brett “Buddy” Ascott who is best known for being drummer of the ultimate mod punk ban The Chords. I recorded this show on his birthday so hope he likes the end result.
All tracks played have been chosen by Buddy and because of social distancing I have recited the reasons behind his choices. Included are five of Buddy’s influences, a selection of his own releases and a huge bundle of his personal favourite punk, new wave, mod and powerpop records from 1976-80.
