Phoenix FM is 10 years old! Although we started been broadcasting short term/temporary licences since 1996, we were officially licenced by Ofcom in March 2007. We turned on our Brentwood transmitter and it hasn’t gone off since!
To celebrate we held our first ever outside broadcast from the Holiday Inn in London Road, Brentwood, with special guests popping in throughout the day.
Highlights included:
- A live session from Lydia Lucy
- A live session from Katy Forkings
- A live session from Jordan Gray
- An interview with endurance athlete Laura Try
- An interview with Southend United’s Ben Coker
- An interview with award-winning singer/songwriter Imogen Heap
