Tonight was unseasonably warm and I had the air conditioning on in the studio. Tonight’s playlist included an appreciation of the music of Brian Wilson. Our friends were busy as ever in the chat room. When we had a problem with a Dolly Parton track and I had to come back to it later, and it worked, they said I have given it an injection of botox. Actually I had just wiped the cd. They also thought that Jamie Cullum’s version of God only knows might be by Jamie Oliver. This led to suggestions of albums that Jamie Oliver might make. All as surreal as ever. Our odd news stories included a recent tax disc being offered on E-bay for £1500. Unsurprisingly, no bids. There was also a mother calling the Police in Plymouth when she spotted a baby crocodile in her back garden. They called keepers from the local zoo. It was only when they got up really close and threw a bag over it, did they realise it was an inflatable! There was the bank robber in Washington who, on taking the money then had a guilty conscience and waited for the Police to come and arrest him. It has been a strange world this week.
