A place in the Isthmian Premier Division is up for grabs tomorrow afternoon as Bowers & Pitsea host Brentwood Town in the Isthmian North Division play-off final.

Bowers progressed to the final with a 4-2 penalty shootout victory over Felixstowe & Walton United on Tuesday after a 2-2 draw. TQ Addy broke the deadlock on 18 minutes before Joshua Mayhew drew level just before the break. Even though Benas Vaivada restored the one-goal cushion 12 minutes from time, Joshua Hitter netted a late leveller but Bowers progressed on penalties.

Brentwood managed to progress to the final at the Len Salmon Stadium with a 3-1 away win at Bury Town as Mekhi McKenzie, Daniel Ogunleye and Shad Ngandu scored three in extra-time after a 0-0 draw in normal time.

In an Essex derby between two teams that finished in fourth and fifth place, James Collins’ side will be looking to bounce back to step three at the first time of asking following relegation last season while the Blues could seal promotion back to the Isthmian Premier Division for the first time since 2016.
