It was a lovely warm evening tonight and a pleasant drive to Brentwood. We were so lucky tonight to be joined by the talented Rich Neale and Sarah Harley. Rich and Sarah write their own material. Sarah has a stunning voice and Rich accompanied her on the guitar. They played three of their own songs. These were Examine my heart, Always and He has risen. They chatted about how they write songs and also their inspiration. They also played one of their favourites, When I survey. There were lots of positive comments in the chat room and via e-mail.

Ella came back on the phone to tell us how she go on running the 5 km race to raise money for Cancer Charities. At aged 10 she raised over £700. What an achievement!

We had news stories about Andy Murray being featured in a special edition of The Beano and also of a sculptor who found some comics in a skip and used them for a paper mache figure. It turns out the comics were first editions and worth £20,000. We also heard about a charity asking for the removal of a Frddie Mercury inspired gorilla that is part of a gorilla trail in Norwich to raise money for families in East Anglia and conservation work with Gorillas in Uganda. Someone has lost a sense of humour.
