On a lovely warm June evening Gary Seithel joined me in the studio. He told us about an event happening at lunch times in Brentwood High Street starting next Wednesday and running through until Saturday. Here you will be able to get a free beef burger thanks to the local churches. Just follow your nose to outside the Bay Tree Centre. He also told us about how he came to be invovled in helping churches put on this kind of event. He chose for us to listen to Pride in the Name of Love by U2 and Come to the Water by Chris Tomlin, Martin Smith, Kirk Franklin and the Watoto African Children’s Choir. This was a very enthusiastic track, much appreciated by Jenny and Emily in the chat room. We also had tracks tonight from the Moody Blues, Mumford and Son, Fairground Attraction, Adele, Coldplay, Canned Heat, Donny & Marie Osmond, Rick Braun, Jamie Cullum, Lady Antebellum, Marc Antionne, Canned Heat, Gary Newman, Caro Emerald and others.
