Because of the current global health crisis I couldn’t get to the studio so have managed to set up a makeshift virtual studio at home. I think it came out ok and it was certainly good for my mental wellbeing. To put it into perspective I have been communicating with David Philp of The Automatics who was discharged from a hospital in California yesterday having undergone cancer treatment. The first two tracks on this week’s show were emailed to me a couple of days ago by David so listen to more about that in the first part of the show.

The playlist this week is a combination of obscure and well loved punk music from the 1976 to 1980 years. I give a good reason for stretching into 1981 for Manzanar by Channel 3.

I cringed at the last track which I introduced as The Vibrators fourth single and then play a completely different and much newer version. I couldn’t be bothered to edit anything as the version is great anyway.

Remember to share the show, listen to the previous ones again, send in ideas and requests, like us on Facebook but most of all follow government and health advice wherever you live. Stay safe X

The Automatics’ David Philp with his wife Hunter.
