We’ve been playing Levi Zadoff’s current single, “Watch”, here on Phoenix FM recently and we caught up with Levi to chat about his life and music.

Hi Levi! Tell us a little bit about your yourself?

I hail from the heart of Hollywood, California. I’m a multi-talented artist and entrepreneur. I believe in freedom of artistry and I believe music and art is the number 1 or best form of communication. I engineer, produce and rap – I’m a triple threat artist if you will! 

When did you first start to develop a passion for music?

When I was in 7th grade (age 12-13). Me and my buddy Anthony Couto, who’s always been a great influence on me, started freestyling and making raps and it just grew from there. Fun fact – the first time we ever recorded was in an abandoned mansion because that was the only place we could record together. 

Which artists did you listen to while growing up?

Tupac, Biggie, Joeybadass, Snoop, 50 Cent, Felly, XXXTentacion and many many others.

How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?

My music is based in hardcore bars, lyrical versatility, puns, metaphors, etc. It’s real poetry to an instrumental.  

What music have you recorded and released to date?

I’ve released about 24 songs in total. Some are now deleted but it’s about 24, 2 EPs and a bunch of singles. 

Which artists do you enjoy listening to at the moment – and do they influence your work?

I listen to the whole rap game right now; everyone is a source of inspiration.  But the people I listened to growing up are my main influences.

Who would your dream collaboration be with?

Joeybadass for sure!

What are your plans for the future?

I plan to work with Megabuzz Music Promotions to further my career, and do some major shows. I plan to drop 2 EPs soon. And I also have a ton of other artists on the come up I’m working with.
