I have had a great week doing work experience at Phoenix FM.

I have been lucky enough to work with a variety of different presenters on different shows. This was very interesting because every presenter did their shows so differently. Within my first hour, Michelle introduced me on air and we had a chat, I was quite nervous as this was my first time talking on the radio but thanks to all the presenters, as the week went on, I became so much more confident.

On one of the days, Michelle brought in p’apples which we tried live on air- that was interesting! Everyone has made me feel so welcome; including me in their shows, doing things from events guide to the retro charts!

I have developed so many new skills and learnt so much more about radio. I would recommend Phoenix FM to anyone who wants to learn more about radio because it is such a fun and friendly atmosphere to work in.
