Phoenix FM’s BATTLE STAGE competition is now in full swing with 12 acts hoping to make it onto the Main Stage of this year’s BRENTWOOD FESTIVAL, which takes place here at the Brentwood Centre on 5-7 July. The Centre foyer played host to four fantastic bands in Heat 1 last night.
Our four contestants for the evening were NINJA BABY, THE VICTORIES, EL DEYMA and BELTER. The decision proved very tricky and we all agreed that any one of the four bands were worthy enough to go through. Unfortunately we couldn’t put everyone through so we settled in the end for BELTER and EL DEYMA.
The two bands go through to the grand final which takes place on 22 June. Heats 2 and 3 take place on 18 and 26 May – hope to see you there.
