Skidmarques on the move!

It wasn’t just Phoenix FM that was on the move this month – our good buddies at Skidmarques, sponsors of the Phoenix FM events guide, were also moving units, although not quite so far as us as they’ve moved from Unit 2 to Unit 7 at the Everik Business Centre in Prospect Way, Hutton.

Ed, Scott and myself went to the launch and mingled among classic cars, car enthusiasts and special guests including the Mayor, Cllr Joan Holmes, and the Michelin Man.

It was a great do and not just because of the complimentary wine and hog roast but that certainly helped! They even had a band – Flaming Pie – to entertain the crowds. And no joke .. when I arrived, they were playing a cover version. Of a Cars song.

We spoke to owner Keith Playell, Cllr Holmes and also Sue from the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, who are Skidmarques’ nominated charity for 2012. If you missed the interviews you can listen again below .. it’s gripping stuff.
