Nicki’s cycling and skydiving challenges in aid of charities

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

Brentwood resident Nicki Treffers came in to the studio last week to talk about an amazing double challenge for charity.

Nicki is the director of marketing at Beresfords Property Group, but is taking some time off to raise money for two amazing charities, Norwood and Mind.

Each year Norwood supports over 2,500 people from children and families facing challenges in their lives due to additional educational needs, mental health or severe wellbeing issues to anyone of any age with learning disabilities or autism.

Norwood is a leading charity supporting people with learning disabilities, helping children and families facing challenges in their lives due to additional educational needs, mental health or severe wellbeing issues to anyone of any age with learning disabilities or autism.

Mind is a nationwide charity providing advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

Nicki spoke to Michelle about the challenges ahead of her in supporting these organisations.

She will be cycling for 500 miles across Botswana despite not being a regular cyclist – and will be skydiving for Mind despite never having jumped from a plane before.

You can hear the interview again at www.phoenixfm.com, which also has details of how you can support Nicki perform these amazing feats.
