Ralph tells show how The Shed Session is supporting local artists

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

There has always been a lot of people in Brentwood supporting new music and emerging artists and it’s always great to feature new ventures who aim to keep doing that.

Ralph Mullan from Brentwood’s The Shed Session popped into our Drive show with Stewart Pink to talk about how they are supporting local independent artists by recording tracks and videos.

Ralph also chatted about Make Music Day, a special event which took place on Tuesday where anyone is invited to make some music – The Shed Session supported this with an evening-long livestream on their Facebook page.

He’s also been working the town’s long-standing Hermit Club, and with our own Claire Gevaux and Natalie Bays on their Sunday afternoon Arts Programme – Claire and Natalie have been giving regular updates on how the sessions have been going.

You can hear Ralph’s interview at www.phoenixfm.com and also follow The Shed Session at www.facebook.com/theshedsession.
