We’ve added Eric Bernardin’s single Losing Time to our rotation here on Phoenix FM – and we caught up with Eric to talk about his life and music.

Tell us a little bit about your yourself?

I am an upcoming artist from Miami and a producer. I am someone who helps a talented artist become seen by provided free beats and lyrics. All my life I had to find a way to make it out of the hood and help provide my family with anything.

When did you first start to develop a passion for music?

Growing up, I learned how to play the trumpet and piano. So music was in my blood since I was little.

Which artists did you listen to while growing up?

I listened to a lot of Tupac, DMX, Eminem, and 50 Cent.

How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?

I would describe my music as a heartfelt message of my life and the struggles that I go through, but pushing on and breaking through barriers.

What music have you recorded and released to date?

I recorded and released a hip hop/pop song called Losing Time.

Which artists do you enjoy listening to at the moment – and do they influence your work?

I enjoy listening to Uzi Vert, Juice WRLD, and Da Baby. I would say their music has a great influence on my music and the way I write my lyrics and come up with melodies.

Who would your dream collaboration be with?

I would LOVE to work with Eminem, Beyonce, or Da Baby if given the chance.

What are your plans for the future?

I will continue to make music for my fans and hopefully have others relate to my music.
