Drive show visitors tell of community charity fund involvement

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

Hinda Frost and Will Russell visited Ian Leigh’s Drive show last week to talk about their involvement with the Community Charity Fund for Brentwood.

This is a new organisation which has been formed to encourage people in Brentwood to develop skills which will help them provide voluntary services to our community.

Past mayor Will talked about why he set up the charity and Hinda spoke about their current and future fundraising events and who they hope to help.

You can hear the interview again at www.phoenixfm.com and you can find out more about the charity by visiting www.mayorscharity.co.uk.

Lots more guests coming up in the next seven days on air.

Former Phoenix FM presenter David Pickthall will be talking about his new Big Band CD on Friday Night Extra.

Ian Leigh will be chatting to comedian Mitch Benn on Drive and Russell Quirk will be chatting with Mike Porter about his new venture with global real estate company Keller Williams on The Breakfast Show.

There will also be our regular features with Maggie Duggan and Sommer Turner from The Beeches, Brian Hughes from Shenfield solicitors Rainer Hughes and Roger Davinson from the Brentwood Leisure Trust.

And we’ll also have live music in the studio from Fraser Morgan and Daniel Lumley.
