Sara Macham talks to Richard Randall from Hutton and Shenfield Choral Society

Phoenix FM’s Sara Macham talks to Richard Randall, chair of Hutton & Sheffield Choral Society.

The 120-strong choir is currently rehearsing for its next concert, a performance of Brahms’ German Requiem on 16th July at the Brentwood School.

Singing in the the original German, HSCS will be joined on the night by soloists Erica Eloff and James McOran Campbell, and accompanied on Brentwood School’s brand new grand piano.

Richard talks about the joy – and hard work! – of singing in a choir as the group prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary in the coming season.
