What a fabulous day and weekend in prospect! Today’s weather forecast was “Get the barbecue out!”
As well as two hours of great upbeat music today’s show featured a story which is going berserk on Twitter today about a bit of criminal damage brought about as an act of revenge by what appears to be a scorned lover.
A shiny white Range Rover Revere – with a starting price of £75,000 – was seen parked near Harrods in west London and daubed with angry messages.
“Cheater” was painted in bright red on both sides of the vehicle while the words, “Hope she was worth it” were marked on the rear window and bonnet. Not a good day for someone then.
Also, on my visit to the Polling Station this morning I encountered three very bored looking council officials. They told me that voting had been very slow up to then. They had another 11 hours to go.
Polling stations will be open until 10pm this evening with counts taking place over-night and results set to be announced throughout the day tomorrow. So get voting!
