On a suddenly chilly November evening Phyl had requested ‘If I rule the world’ so this set us thinking of one thing you would do if you did rule the world. Lots of people wanted to bring peace. Phyl wrote ‘make sure everyone has enough to eat’. Derek ‘all people should be treated with equal respect’. Bob would ban anyone being allowed to rule the world and bring in democracy. Terry would not allow anyone to earn more than they needed to live. She also thought everyone should work one week a year helping others and do this without numeration. Rene wanted world recognition for companies that capped salaries and gave to charities and poor economies. Terry also thought men should have babies. Mark wanted 5 day weekends and 2 day weeks. All very interesting. We also heard about a cat at a feline rescue centre with three ears that the finders wanted to call Spock or Kirk “as it had a final front ear”. In the end it was called Bob after the finder. We also heard of Justin Bieber taking a reporter with him to church and that he sends texts of encouragement to his pastor.
