Yes the big day is almost upon us so I finally succumbed to the inevitable and played some Christmas songs. Having been plagued by them in supermarkets since October I vowed to keep my shows Christmas song free until the last moment.
Keeping to the Christmas theme both of our “oddball” stories had a kind of Christmas theme.
First off we heard about the man who went out for a few Christmas drinks with his pals, fell asleep on the backseat of their car and woke up 300 miles away in France en route for Belgium to buy some cheap smokes. Bit of a problem, but much more of a problem if you don’t have a passport!
We also learnt about what happened when a woman mistook a Christmas hat for an injured parrot. The hat is now being cared for by the RSPCA.
Right I’m off now to collect my Christmas turkey. Have a fabulous Christmas and I’ll see you again next week.
