We heard today from Clive and Linda Paish about a show they are staging at the BRENTWOOD THEATRE next Sunday evening at 7:30.
Two years in the planning, and with a cast of 33 artistes drawn from various folk clubs across the South East of England, the show is a mix of poetry readings and a lot of music to commemorate the First World War. Listen to what Clive and Linda had to tell me, by clicking on the link below, and then book your tickets – priced at £12 (Concessions £10) which are available from the Brentwood Theatre box office, during office hours on 01277 200305. And don’t forget all the profits will be going to the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes!
And talking about shows, in the second hour of today’s programme we heard about the man who had rather more exposure than he expected when, after imbibing a few too many, he settled down for a quiet nap on the underground train home. Inexplicably before nodding off, he stripped down to his birthday suit. Unfortunately for him a picture of him wearing nothing but a dirty pair of running shoes, made the front page of the NEW YORK POST. How embarrassing has that got to be?
See you tomorrow (but fully clothed),
Scott
