Lifesaving equipment could be introduced to Billericay High Street in a joint initiative between the Street Pastors, the Community First Responders and the wider community.
Phil Norton, Billericay Street Pastor co-ordinator and Community First Responder, realised there was a need for a defibrillator on the High Street when he found the nearest publicly accessible one was at the railway station.
Phil joined me on today’s show. You can listen to our chat here –
If you are interested in helping to fund the defibrillator you can get in touch with Phil Norton, by e-mailing billericay@street pastors.org.uk finding them on Facebook or Twitter, or by writing to Street Pastors, St Mary Magdalen Church, High Street, Billericay, CM12 9BQ.
I then asked Phil if he could give us an update on the Billericay Street Pastor project and tell us how things were going –
Thanks Phil!
