We had a great time tonight with Trevor and Ann Sharp visiting the studio. At age fifty Trevor , a Brentwood boy, went from a senior role in the police to studying for the ministry in the Church of England at Cambridge. He talked about his life in the police and also all the changes that have happened along the way as he now goes to a curacy in Harlow in July. He also sang and played guitar for us, showing a real talent, much appreciated by the listeners in the chatroom and via e-mail. In the chatroom we also talked about being somewhere and an famous person walked in, as I was in a restaurant in Sudbury on Monday and Loyd Grossman walked in. Heather Small, Lamaar and the Queen Mother featured in the replies. We also heard about reindeers being sprayed with florescent paint in Finland to avoid car crashes and Lewis and Harris being voted the best island holiday destinations in Europe, ahead of everywhere in the Med.
