Being a Tuesday it was ESSEX TALES day.

But before all that we learnt how you could have turned your excess fat into gold. Had you been in Dubai during Ramadan and signed up for “YOUR WEIGHT IN GOLD” campaign, for every kilo you lost, you would have been awarded 1 gram in gold. The most successful participant walked away with gold worth a cool £1700 after shedding a massive 26kg.

Later we heard all about the man from  South Wales who became impaled on a toilet roll holder. It’s probably best not to enquire too closely as to quite how this feat was achieved, but I do wonder whether the emergency services called to free him, tore him off a strip!
