In the second hour I was delighted to welcome back some old friends of Phoenix – D’ukes ukelele band.

We had a great chat about the band and heard some live performances from The Cramphorn Theatre in Chelmsford last year.

D’Ukulele is back!

Saturday 27 April, 12pm to 5pm, admission £3

Cramphorn Theatre, Fairfield Road, Chelmsford, CM1 1JG

The 2013 D’Ukulele festival returns to Chelmsford for the second year. Essex based ukulele band D’Ukes have teamed up again with the Cramphorn Theatre for an afternoon of ukulele fun.

The festival will include performances showcasing ukulele acts, ukulele workshops, stalls, an open mic and a mass ukulele jam. So if you play the uke or are learning to play or just want to see what all the fuss is about, come along!
