HELLOOOO. This week on Between the Lines we were joined by Tom Keegan from Brentwood Baseball Club, who talked about the clubs ambition to launch softball. The club were looking to aim softball at brothers, sisters and shall we say WAGS. It’s a scaled down version of baseball with the bases being closer together and an under-arm pitch. Initially, softball would start up on on a recreational basis so anyone can turn up and have a hit! The club is looking to get a permanent back structure so is looking for 100 firms to sponsor £100 and in return these firms can get use of the ball park and get involved with the club.
