Friday in the Commentrary Box

Well another Friday and another set of international games being played. Most important game of the night Was the Republic of Ireland’s away game in Estonia. With a great 4-0 away win they have one foot on the plane to Poland and Ukrane for next years European championship.

I have to admit that I’ve gone off the focus of England games due to the poor showing over the last few years in both competitve and friendly games. But still we did mention the game coming up on Saturday with both Worlf and European champions Spain. Looking like a foregone conclusion of a Spanish win we chose not to dwell too long on this game.

Looking for ward to the almost never ending F1 season we had a look at the free practice 1 & 2 taking place at the Yas Marine circut in the UAE. As normal I tend not to take too much from these practice sesions as anything can happen in qualifying for the race day. So, it is still nice to see both Jenson Button and Lews Hamilton back up there. After all the noise made by the press over the previous few races that Lewis Hamilton is no longer the racer he use to be. With just one more race left of the season in Brasil in a couple of weeks time we all know who is the best and who got the wooden spoon for the 2012 seaon.

Still on motorsport we wished Rob Guiver all the best as instead of taking a couple of weeks off work he choose to take a busmans holiday and race in the last two meetings of the Spanish championship. With one race on Sunday 13th and last race next Sunday 20th any more track time for these guys is a bonus. Many of the Brits are iding in both races and what a way to spend 10 days off of work.

And not forgetting the Essex Spartans having there try outs for the 2012 season on Sunday 20th and 27th at Hannikins Farm, Billericay from 12-2pm.
