It’s my party!

BBandCOn today’s programme we learnt about the political party banned by the Electoral Commission from taking part in this year’s general election. The reason – it’s name the Beer, Baccy and Crumpet Party, could be offensive to women. In particular the reference to “Crumpet” could be considered as describing women as sexual objects! Party founder, Ray Hall, however claims that “CRUMPET” merely denotes the key issues of the party’s policies – C standing for Crime, R for Rates etc.. Well don’t know about you but as I see it man cannot live on bread alone, he also needs some crumpet!

Folk curesMargaret Mills returned today with some more folklore remedies, but in truth I would suggest you do not try any of these at home. Listen again to what she had to say today on this subject by clicking on the link below: –
