Curveballs 17th April 2024 (with The Bob Collum Band)

Tonight we welcomed back Bob Collum to the studio after nearly a decade and a half since his last session – but it quickly felt like he had never been away. Joined by bassist Martin, we heard four tracks live in the studio as a taster of what to expect from Bob’s first ever ‘best of’ compilation, Wasted Wonderland, out on May 16th. There’ll be plenty of chances to catch the Bob Collum Band (also featuring Paul on drums and Mags on violin) out promoting it live, including The Plough, Shepreth on April 20th, the official album launch gig at London’s Betsey Trotwood on May 16th, Orpington Liberal Club on May 18th and many more throughout summer – check out bobcollummusic.com for the full list, and how to order tickets along with the album!
Click below to hear Bob chatting about putting together his first compilation, the random new direction the next album might go in, and meeting some other well-known musicians also hailing from his home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, before they were famous.
