The Arts Programme – 199 – All The World’s A Stage

This week we were joined on the radio stage by Bettina, EL and Kathryn. These ladies perform / produce 1:4:9 Production’s upcoming contemporary version of Shakespeare’s ‘Henry V’.

The ladies told us all about thier gender swapped roles too (in tradition / non tradition). Hence updating the language of the bard and how they came to be actors in Brentwood.

We also spoke about some Essex events, had a small Shakespeare quiz and listened to a loosely stage themed playlist of plays, from Elvis Costello’s Miss Macbeth to Supergrass with Richard III.

Listen again to The Arts Programme with Natalie and Claire.

Book your tickets here for 1:4:9’s Henry V at The Brentwood Theatre.
