The Arts Programme – 202 – Run The World (Girls) !

This week we are overwhelmed by amazing girls. The facts behind why IWD is an important celebration and all of the amazing activities that have been happening as part of this female inspired celebration.

Natalie spoke about The Appleby Gallery’s new exhibition travelling from The Hayward Gallery showcasing the early work of Georgia O’Keefe, the trailblazing 20th Century American visual artist who painted right into her 90’s. Claire spoke about her visit to the Ambitious Women in Essex event with the beautiful sounds of Anna Pancaldi.

We also spoke about some national news, and some female issues on the world stage. Including the number of horse sculptures in comparison to females in Copenhagen.

Listen again to The Arts Programme with Natalie and Claire.
