The Arts Programme – 205 – 1999, The Turn Of The Century!

This week Natalie was joined by Spencer again to disucss the ups and downs of 1999. The SENSATIONAL year of blockbuster movies, a decade ending with cheesey hits that we still love now and more importantly the year of Charlotte’s birth.

There was a run down of the top news of the year, including the perils imagined from the millenium bug, the joy’s we shared in telling people the ending of ‘The Sixth Sense’ and some of the R&B stars we loved and lost in the timeframe.

There was also some up to date info on the events of today too – with a run down of the Create Festival in Brentwood happening this week – along with Architecture Adventure in Havering.

The music started off Espanol with Ricky Martin’s hit of the year and then took us through Unpretty and Crazy times until we all ended up in an S-Club party with Lou Bega’s Mambo No.5. Can you Believe it?

Listen again to The Arts Programme with Natalie and this week, Spencer.
