Tonight I chatted to Johnny from Colchester rockers Pet Needs. They’re releasing their third album, Intermittent Fast Living, on February 16th and will be doing an in-store performance at HMV Colchester on the 21st before heading off on their UK tour, which includes a visit to the Camden Underworld on April 25th. We chatted about the band’s touring all over the world and their remarkable Eastern European fanbase, meeting and working with Frank Turner, and their lyrics not quite translating to other cultures. Find all Pet Needs links at petneedsband.com.
We also chatted to Emmanuel Odusami, director of upcoming short film Almost Home. The film (produced by Curveballs buddy Mark Denham), which tackles issues such as homelessness and mental health, is currently running a fundraiser campaign on Indiegogo, and as we found out, there’s a wide variety of perks available to donators. Visit the Indiegogo page now and see how you can support this innovative and touching film. Emmanuel can also be found on Instagram.
