I spent the October half-term in Los Angeles, where I tried various times to get a selfie with the Hollywood sign – it always looks a million miles away! Was a fun trip anyway and influenced some of the musical choices tonight, alongside the first announcement of acts playing next year’s Latitude Fest – even though the thought of outdoor festivals seems rather unappealing given the very un-LA-like conditions we have here right now! Not that I managed to get much of a tan out there either though…
