The Arts Programme – 140 – International Mental Health Day

This week marks International Mental Health Day. We look at some top advice from experts, and discuss the importance of creativity in wellbeing.

We listened back to an interview with Claire Cordeaux from BAPAM about mental health, talked through wellbeing in the office and listened to some top tips for mindfulness.

The show celebrated Black History month with our rundown of diverse creatives that you should really know! There was also a super list of events to get involved in over the next month in Essex. From headband making to autumn talks and scary storytelling.

Our playlist was inspired by the green ribbon of International Mental Health Day; and while it was difficult NOT to theme our music to kermit the frog, we did have a little ‘Man or Muppet’ interlude. We also listened to John Cage, Greenday and Cavetown.

Listen again to The Arts Programme with Claire and Natalie.
