The Arts Programme – 139 – Autumn For Diversity

Autumn envelopes Black History Month; and this week we celebrated diverse creatives and the creative impact of the season.

We listened back to JP Seabrite’s work for Natitonal Poetry Day, enjoyed some Autumn poems and spoke about the importance of equality in compositions. Then relaxed to the beautiful sounds of siblings Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason.

Natalie spoke about the importance of Autumnal trees and the work of some of the most well known aritsts from the last 100 years. See visual references below!

Our playlist was as cozy as a pumpkin spiced latte by the fire after a long walk in a park with the dogs. We heard from Nat King Cole, the Mamas and the Papas and of course the wind in the willows!

Listen again to The Arts Programme with Claire and Natalie.
