A special programme commemorating the memory of the late monarch, through her presence in arts and culture.
This week we spoke in memory about the impact that our late monarch has had on our cultural landscape. From dedication to poetry and music, to supporting community theatres.
We also heard from the Queens Theatre Hornchurch’s executive direcetor Mathew Russell. He spoke about the theatre’s relationship with thier royal namesake and how they continue to thrive through a new exciting and experimental programme in the form of the Blueprint Festival.
Our playlist theme this week was ‘in memory’. It spanned form emotional tracks from Greenday and George Michael; to some that the queen loved to dance to such as Lester Lanin.
