This week on New Talent Tuesday we looked at one of the many legacies left behind by His Royal Highness, Prince Philip: the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
I was joined by Yasmin, the Essex county coordinator for the charity, and local student Adnan, to talk about the various elements that make up the award, and how participants and organisers have had to adapt during the pandemic. Yasmin also told us about the Living Legacy project, aimed to raise money so that more young people can benefit from the scheme, and to gather memories from those currently and previously involved with DofE, in memory of His Royal Highness.
To find out more about the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, you can visit the website, or find them on social media.
