We have all imagined at least once in our life how we would react if approached by intruders in our home. Invariably we all would like to believe that our inner Rambo will reveal itself and make short work of the fools.
The truth, however, is that in any situation of pressure and panic it is my belief we react one of 3 ways, Fight, Flight or Freeze. With the truth being that most of us freeze.
Well, I was unfortunate enough to find out exactly how I would react if I thought somebody had broken into my home in the early hours. Let’s just say It didn’t go to plan. Although as with all things I learned some valuable lessons that night.
