On Wednesday 24th May I was delighted to attend an amazing evening with UFC Hall of Famer and Bellator MMA Brand Ambassador Royce Gracie.

Royce was in Southend at TSGMMA’s gym to deliver a seminar to a packed audience of fighters young and not-so-young.

TSGMMA was founded by one of Royce Gracie’s first Black Belts Daniel Burzotta who passes on his vast knowledge to the next generation of fighters and is also co-founder of promotion UWC – Ultimate Warrior Challenge.

It was an inspiring evening seeing the fighters in awe of Royce Gracie and also hearing about the great work that the gym does in the local community.

We later decamped to Il Pescatore, the Burzotta family restaurant where we were able to grab a quick chat with the MMA legend.
