Maldon & Tiptree have confirmed Dave Huzzey as their new manager, reuniting with the Jammers after being Assistant Manager a few years ago.

The former Southend United Academy Coach had previously served as the assistant to Wayne Brown at the Wallace Binder Stadium but he now returns to Maldon in the hot seat, replacing Jamie Cureton.

Huzzey’s most recent role was with Colchester United as their Transition Coach which included him leading the U23’s side to this season’s BBC Essex Senior Cup final which they lost 1-0 to Redbridge.

He takes over a side that finished in 11th place in the Isthmian North Division.
