Friday Night Extra 12.5.17 with Guest Rob Saggs from CHESS

Great to welcome back Rob from CHESS, working with homeless people in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. Rob told us about how people become homeless and that in recent years the problems have become worse that lead to people becoming homeless. Rob said the real aims of the work were to keep people safe to see their lives of people transformed. Thy have a number of properties in the Chelmsford area where people can stay. Here their needs are addressed and help provided. Rob said the word had a 56% success rate. Through links with www.wingspan.works there can be skills development and also employment. CHESS have recently purchased a building in New London Road that will provide housing for nine clients and also administrative space.
