Last month one of my guests was Steve Waters from Billericay Lions.
Billericay Lions are now pleased to announce that the Co-Op have chosen to support Billericay Lions in its fundraising campaign to replace its Father Christmas Sleigh.

As many of you will know, over the last 35 years Billericay Lions have brought joy to children – and adults too – by conveying Father Christmas around the streets of Billericay ahead of the festive period. This also enables them to collect your generous donations to their charitable fund which they distribute to local causes. However, the trailer that carries Father Christmas is now over 50 years old and is in severe danger of becoming unroadworthy despite annual efforts to patch it up.
Therefore – thanks to the support of the Co-Op – Billericay Lions are building a new trailer so they can continue this long-standing Billericay tradition.
