The Brentwood Draft Local Plan sets out Brentwood Borough Council’s draft proposed vision, strategic objectives, land allocations to meet development needs and planning policies to guide decision making until 2033.

Brentwood Town Hall and gardens

The Council is currently undertaking a public consultation on the Plan, which runs until Wednesday 23rd March 2016.

You can have your say in Brentwood’s future by visiting www.brentwood.gov.uk/localplan or by coming along to one of the council’s Public Drop-In Information events which are being held as follows:

· Brentwood Town Hall (event one) (Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM15 8AY): Thursday 18 February, 4pm to 7pm.
· Ingatestone & Fryerning Community Centre (7 High Street, Ingatestone, CM4 9ED): Monday 22 February, 4pm to 7pm.
· Shenfield St Marys Parish Hall (80 Hutton Road, Shenfield, CM15 8LB): Wednesday 24 February, 7pm to 9pm.
· Pilgrims Hatch Bishops Park Hall (Elizabeth Road, Brentwood, CM15 9NP): Monday 29 February, 5pm to 9pm.
· Brentwood Town Hall (event two) (Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM15 8AY): Tuesday 1 March, 4pm to 7pm.
· Tipps Cross Remembrance Hall (Blackmore Road, Hooke End, CM15 0DX): Wednesday 2 March, 6pm to 8pm.

· West Horndon St Francis Church Hall (Thorndon Avenue, West Horndon, CM13 3TR): Monday 7 March, 4pm to 8pm.
· Brentwood Town Hall (event three) (Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM15 8AY): Wednesday 9 March, 4pm to 7pm.

Brentwood Borough Council’s Chair of the Planning and Licensing Committee, Councillor Roger McCheyne, said: “This is a consultation on a draft Local Plan – not a final document and that is why it is important that people share their comments with us so that they are part of the process.

“We understand that people will have questions and that is why we are running a series of Public Drop-In Events across the Borough during the consultation period. Please come along to one if you can to have a look at the Draft Local Plan and ask any questions on it you may have”.
